“As if bleeding all over the piano, original live painting during the set, and a “choose your own adventure” feature during the live show isn’t enough…they’ve harnessed that energy into 9 slobber knockers yielding 40 minutes of visceral piano rock pictures. Could easily be record of the year.” - 9.9/10 review of "Rabbit on Fire"

Pocket Vinyl

Piano Slam Rock + On Stage Painter

Pocket Vinyl are an incredibly unique piano-slamming/live-painting band from CT, primiarily comprised of Eric Stevenson (the piano one) and Elizabeth Jancewicz (the painting one).  Their live show consists of insightful piano slam rock coupled with a live painter, who creates a work of art on stage during the show, which gets auctioned off afterwards.  Every painting and show is unique.

The new album “Rabbit on Fire” (out now) is 9 story songs about a ruthless warrior (Death's Favorite Daughter), a widow reflecting on their new life (Audio Sickness), an artist relieved to have lost their passion for art (Bleed Like A Victory, a macabre piece of furniture (Chair From Your Bones), and exactly 5 other tales. It's emotionally dark material wrapped in bright indie rock.  You're going to love it.

If you'd like to go down the rabbit hole of this band, just put “Pocket Vinyl” in any search bar on the internet and you'll find us.  They lucked out with an easy-to-find band name.  They have a feature length film (Drive. Play. Sleep.), an autobiographical weekly comic (The Touring Test), played over 1100 shows in all 50 states, and are always up to something interesting.

Now is a great time to get on the Pocket Vinyl train.
