Well it seems like all the popular kids are doing it, so we thought we'd fall in line. The remainder of our spring tour has been cancelled (save the Washington DC and Lancaster PA shows in April, which may still happen depending on how all this shakes out).
We had high hopes, but it has gotten to the point where it is incredibly unwise for us to stay on the road, for all of our health. We certainly don't want to be unknowing carriers, and a potential news story of "Small band carriers COVID-19 all over the USA" isn't the kind of headlines we'd like. So it is with very heavy hearts (and a few wet eyes) that we cancel this tour.
However, we will try to reschedule all of these shows once this thing blows over, so consider this a rain check, not a pure cancellation indefinitely.
In the meantime, we will be doing a few things:
1) tomorrow we will put the Baba Yaga t-shirts we made up online. So if you want one, you can get one. $20, free shipping anywhere in the USA.
2) we are going to try to do some live streaming shows! This way we can all attend a PV concert from the safety of our underground cement quarantine bunkers. We'll have open requests for songs, auction off the painting and mail it to whoever wins, and overall try to have a good time.
3) Elizabeth is going to have a big Etsy sale, so if prints or art was on your mind, wait a few days and that'll be live.
This is a potentially scary time, but do not panic. Panicking leads to fear, fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and hate (as Yoda teaches us) leads to suffering. Stay safe, stay wise, think of others, be kind, and understand that as a planet we are in this together.
Love you all.
